Suspcious activity call leads to drug arrest

A call for suspicious activity early Monday morning resulted in a man being arrested on a failure to appear warrant and methamphetamine charges.

According to McPherson County Communications, Paul Hurt, 21, was arrested after McPherson Police officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 200 block of South Centennial Avenue just before 2 a.m. Monday.

He was booked into the McPherson County Jail on a failure to appear warrant from the McPherson County District Court on charges of driving while suspended and no proof of insurance. He was also charged with possession of meth.

He was held as of Tuesday morning on a total bond of $2,500.
