Two McPherson College cross country runners have been named to the preseason All-KCAC team.

Laura Gibson, who was seventh in last year’s KCAC Championships, made the elite team, while Dixon Cooney did likewise for Mac on the men’s side.

Bethany College did not have a member on either team.

On the women’s side, defending conference champion Kelsey Buffren of Southwestern highlights the team. She is joined by teammate Rebeca Gamez.

Others on the team are Jordan Calderwood, Christian Provence and Chisholm Branscum of Ottawa, Grace Aitken and Sydney Roy of Friends, and Alyssa Brann and Lindsey Meng of Saint Mary.

The top returning KCAC finisher on the men’s side is Easton Moore of Friends, who was third last year at conference. Falcon teammate Kris Mathur also is on the team.

Others are Russell Brown, Andres Guerrero, John Graham and Patrick Rachford of Saint Mary, Taylor Parker of Southwestern, and Louis Emiston and Nick Robinson of Kansas Wesleyan.
