Central Christian College’s soccer teams probably can’t wait to take the field today, given the exciting results of their season openers last Saturday.

The Tigers travel to North Newton to take on KCAC member Bethel College, with the women playing at 5:00 and the men at 7:00.

The Central teams are coming off their first season-opening sweep in nine years. The Lady Tigers were a 2-1 winner over Presentation College and the men blazed to a 4-0 success.

Both teams also play on Saturday. The Lady Tigers host another KCAC school, Southwestern, at 4:30 p.m., while the men entertain new KCAC school Oklahoma Wesleyan at 7:00, which is ranked 20th in the nation. Central and Oklahoma Wesleyan were both members of the MCAC year, which has now disbanded.
