LINDSBORG — Aaron Yoder, Bethany College cross country coach, will be wearing another hat as well.

The college announced today that he’s been named as head track and field coach.

Yoder, in his second season as the head cross country coach, has been an assistant with the track and field team for six years and has helped other programs in their off-season conditioning workouts. He has also served as the Staff Senate President for the past two years.

"I am excited that coach Yoder will be expanding his duties at Bethany," Swede Athletic Director Dane Pavlovich said in a press release. "He has already proven himself as a committed member of the Swede coaching staff and I look forward to seeing our track and field program grow under Aaron's guidance."

Yoder is a 2009 graduate of Fort Hays State University, where he majored in Health and Human Performance with an emphasis in Health Promotions and Wellness and a minor in Business Administration. Yoder completed his master's degree in Sport and Movement Studies through Fort Hays in December 2010.
