Man arrested on McPherson, Geary County warrants

McPherson County law enforcement arrested a man Wednesday afternoon on multiple warrants, including charges of fleeing and an aggravated assault on a a law enforcement officer.

McPherson Police officers and a McPherson County Sheriff's deputy arrested Garritt Ward Kent McConnell, 35, in the 1300 block of Oakmont on a McPherson County District Court warrant for felony flee and elude and aggravated assault on an officer. He was also held on a Geary County warrant for charges of burglary and theft.

The Geary County warrant had a bond of $2,500, though the McPherson County warrant was not bondable. McConnell was held in the McPherson County Jail as of Thursday Morning.
