McPherson High’s volleyball team will take a seven-match winning streak into today’s triangular at Mulvane.

Wellington is the third team for the 5 p.m. event.

The Bullpups lost their very first match of the year against Newton, but since have reeled off seven straight wins, with all but one of the matches decided in straight sets.

It’s the only action of the week for the Bullpups. They make their home debut a week from today against powerhouse teams Rose Hill and Andale, which is probably the best home triangular of the season and should not be missed by MHS fans.

The Bullpups don’t return to tournament action until Sept. 26 when they play in the always-strong Newton Invitational.
