LAWRENCE — The winning streak for Central Christian College’s volleyball team is starting to get serious.
The Lady Tigers upped their victory parade number to four on Tuesday by stopping Haskell in a four-set road match.
CCC opened with a dramatic 28-26 first-set win, then made it 2-0 with a 25-21 success. After Haskell rebounded with a 25-17 triumph, the Lady Tigers closed it out with a 25-14 rout.

“We're not playing our best volleyball right now, but what's positive is that we're finding ways to win games we haven't won in the past,” CCC coach Christina Ludwick said. “I need to do a better job of addressing our weaknesses and we need to start fixing them quickly. But for tonight, a win's a win and we'll celebrate it."
It was Central’s first victory over Haskell in nine years. The Lady Tigers will try to extend their winning streak over the weekend as they journey to Dallas for a triangular with Dallas Christian College and Southwestern Christian University.
