Great game for Hart

Update — Washburn went on to win 34-14. Hart finished with six catches for 153 yards.

TOPEKA — The football game between Washburn University and Nebraska-Kearney was halted in the third quarter Thursday night, with the Ichabods leading 27-7.

The game just re-started this morning at 11:00.

McPherson’s Jordan Hart already has had a great game with four catches for 120 yards, including a 59-yard TD pass on Washburn’s first play from scrimmage.

If Washburn holds on, it will be 1-1 on the season.
