Viking spikers now 10-4 after sweep

LARNED — Smoky Valley is experiencing a turnaround volleyball season.

The Vikings improved to 10-4 overall with a sweep of Halstead and Larned on Tuesday, their second sweep in as many days. They also are 3-0 in CKL play.

The Vikings defeated Halstead (25-13, 25-19) and Larned (25-19, 25-19).

Kate Deterding had a great day with 13 kills, 16 digs and 4 aces. Haley Peterson (16 kills), Kelsie Anderson (24 assists and 6 kills) and Delaney Johnson (24 assists, 2 aces) also had good days.

The Vikings host Pratt and Kingman for a triangular on Tuesday.
