GODDARD — It was another good day for the McPherson Middle School seventh-grade girls’ cross country team as it took third place, sparked by two medalists.

Kassidy Beam and Lexi Kynaston finished in the Top 10 with a third and ninth, respectively.

Cody Achilles made the Top 10 for the seventh-grade boys by earning the final spot.

“Overall, out of 27 runners, 15 of them ran a personal best and a few of them missed a personal best by only a second or two,” MMS coach Gentry Nixon said. “ It was a good day.”
