Central Christian College’s volleyball team is beating the teams it should beat.

The Lady Tigers have now strung together three straight wins following Friday’s sweep of Central Christian College of the Bible.

Central is now 9-4 as it’s taking care of the easier teams on the schedule, which figures to get tougher as the campaign wears on.

“Tonight was a good team win,” CCC coach Christina Ludwick said Friday. “We're excited for two challenging matchups tomorrow. It'll be fun to see what we're made of."

Central was a 25-19, 25-17, 25-9 winner. Haley Bannister and Mayuko Shono had 13 kills apiece, Hannah Crandall was credited with 25 assists, while Ciara Costello led in digs with 17, two more than Kasi Kraus.

Central will have to turn up the heat today when it plays at KCAC power Kansas Wesleyan. Southwestern of the KCAC also is on the docket in the 4 p.m. triangular.
