HAVEN — Hesston High’s volleyball team, which was swept by undefeated and No. 1-ranked Goessel on Monday, got right back on the horse on Tuesday.

The Swathers knocked off Larned (25-15, 28-26) and Haven (25-21, 25-22) to improve to 14-2 on the season. They also are 4-1 in CKL matches.

“This has been a tough stretch for us in the past week, playing several strong teams and having matches two nights in a row without practices for several days,” Hesston coach Jason Peters said. “Our passing was better tonight, but we struggled keeping serves in, especially after a side-out or timeout where we needed to keep the momentum going.”

Kill leader: Kailey Jo Ince, 18

Assists — Alaina Dunlavy, 36

Aces — Cami Richardson, 8

Digs — Kylie Brenneman, 13

Hesston is at Nickerson on Tuesday.
