Two arrested after traffic stop

A routine traffic stop early Wednesday morning resulted in a pair of arrests.

McPherson Police officers stopped a vehicle on McKinley Street for driving without headlights and no seat belts. During the stop, a passenger in the vehicle, Travis Belt, was arrested for a pair of warrants out of Dickinson County, including the possession of methamphetamine and a controlled substance. He was booked into the McPherson County Jail on a total bond of $22,500.

Officers also arrested April Wiley on the moving violation charges. She was held pending a $390 bond.
