SALINA — Bethany College’s Aspen Bryant captured yet another championship on Tuesday in the two-day Kansas Wesleyan Invitational Golf Tournament at Salina Muni.
Bryant shot impressive rounds of 79-75-154 as she clipped Park’s Makenzie Shivers by a shot. Bryant’s sister, Arianna, made it a three-woman race as she was right there with rounds of 81-76-157 for third.
The Bryants didn’t have enough help, though, as the Swedes were fourth as a team behind Park, Kansas Wesleyan and Ottawa.
Rachel Meyer was 30th for the Swedes (96-101-197), one place ahead of Lexi Pauls (107-97-194).
Central Christian College was sixth with a 745, finishing ahead of Sterling by six strokes.
The Lady Tigers’ Alexis Briner had a good tourney as she was 12th with a 94-79-173. Other CCC scores were Savannah Horn (87-97-184), Caitlyn Corn (95-98-193) and Mackenzie Gates (93-102-195).
