McPherson High’s girls tennis team will host the second of its two invitational tournaments on Saturday at the MHS Tennis Complex.

The action begins at 9 a.m.

The title could come down to MHS and Derby.

“I feel Derby could be one of the toughest teams,” MHS coach Tyler Brown said. “Although several other teams have some tough players, I feel Derby has one of the better overall teams.”

Brown said the Bullpups will see some new blood.

“It will be nice to see some of these schools out West that I just don't know a lot about,” he said. “Schools such as Garden City, Liberal and Hays. Hays especially since they are in our regional.”

All fans are invited to attend.
