Full morning on tap for city commission

The McPherson City Commission meets this morning with a full day on tap.

Police chief Rob McClarty, CVB Director Joni Regnier, fire chief Jeff Deal, Public Lands and Facilities Director Wayne Burns and Public Works Director Jeff Woodward will all have items to be brought before the commission for consideration. In addition, lead building inspector Bill Athey will present the monthly report and Ronn Peters will have a request relating to the Pedals for Paul Bicycle Ride.

City Administrator Nick Gregory will also present a pair of ordinances, one relating to oral swab drug testing and the other for the issuance of economic development revenue bonds for Kansas Municipal Utilities.

The board will also hold study sessions after the regular meeting, including a discussion with Emprise Bank officials.

This morning's meeting of the McPherson City Commission begins at 8:30 am at the Municipal Center on East Kansas Avenue.
