A former death row inmate who was exonerated after 20 years will speak at McPherson College Wednesday.
Curtis McCarty was exonerated after being convicted for the murder of 18-year-old Pamela Willis in Oklahoma after it was shown a forensic chemist falsified evidence. He now speaks out against the death penalty across the United States.
His talk, entitled Innocent and on Death Row will be held from noon until 1 pm Wednesday in Mingenback Theatre on the campus of McPherson College.
The public is invited to attend this free event.
