BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – Central Christian College’s men’s golf team finished seventh out of 10 schools in the two-day NCCAA Central Regional contested on Monday and Tuesday.
The Tigers finished the 54 holes with a 960. There were 36 holes played on Monday, with 18 on Tuesday.
Central’s Collin Duckworth finished tied for 14th after rounds of 74-74-78-230. Next with a 240 was Ty Howell (79-80-81).
JP Ray carded rounds of 80-82-81-243, while Lowell Stephens checked in with 86-745-87-247. Mathew Hargett was the final Tiger with 92-88-95-275.
Dallas Baptist was the team winner with an 892, two strokes better than Colorado Christian. Dallas Baptist’s Garrett Fry (73-77-66-216), Colorado Christian’s Luke Condon (73-71-72-216) and Oklahoma Wesleyan’s Austen Fuller (71-75-70-216) shot the low scores.
Central’s women did not field a full team. Savannah Horn (93-92-185), Mackenzie Gates (101-100-201) and Caitlin Corn (112-111-223) competed as individuals.
Dallas Baptist won the team title by two shots, 662 to 664. Dallas Baptist’s Ann Parmerter (68-72-140) and teammate Sarah Kim (72-68-140) tied for the low score.
