Nebraska woman busted on meth charges

A Nebraska woman is behind bars after a minor traffic accident early Thursday morning in McPherson revealed methamphetamine.

McPherson Police and Emergency Personnel responded just after 4:45 a.m. to a single-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 800 block of South Main in McPherson. Upon investigation, officers arrested Nakita Sheridan, 32, of Lincoln, Nebraska, on charges of possession of meth, driving while suspended and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sheridan is still confined in the McPherson County Jail as of Friday morning pending a $2,750 bond.
