Mid-Kansas Coop recognized by USDA

Mid-Kansas Cooperative in Moundridge has been ranked in the top 100 of the largest agricultural cooperatives in the nation, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Mid-Kansas Co-op had $523 million in total business volume in 2014 and $206 million in assets, allowing it to jump from 84th in 2013 to 69th last year. Topping the list was CHS of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota with $42.886 billion in business volume and id="mce_marker"5.17 billion in total assets.

MKC has more than 5,800 current members according to its website and offers supplies and services both farm and urban in 15 counties throughout central Kansas.
