DENVER — Central Christian College’s once-promising volleyball season has hit the skids as three losses this weekend in the Johnson and Wales Classic dropped its record to 16-17, including seven straight setbacks.

It’s the first time CCC has been under .500 since the second week of the season.

The Lady Tigers lost in straight sets in each of their matches against Stephens College, Johnson and Wales University and Colorado College.

Central can get back to .500 in its final regular-season match on Tuesday when it hosts Haskell at 6 p.m. It will be Senior Night, with Ciara Costello and Mayuko Shono being honored.

CCC defeated Haskell earlier in the season.
