UPDATED 7:25 a.m.: McPherson County Communications has confirmed that the Silver Alert for Roger Bailey, 74, of McPherson, has been cancelled.

Bailey was located this morning unharmed.

ORIGINAL: McPherson Police have issued a Silver Alert for 74-year-old Roger Bailey of McPherson after he went missing Tuesday night.

According to the MPD, Bailey was last heard from at appropriately 11 pm when he called family members and said he was out of gas and stranded on a gravel road with his hazard lights on. Bailey said he was east of First Street and Centennial Drive in McPherson, though first responders could not locate either Bailey or his vehicle.

The MPD says the family is concerned, as recent behavior has lead them to believe that Bailey is not thinking properly and they believe he is off his medication.

The vehicle is described as a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a KS tag 260AUG.

If you have any information as to Bailey's whereabouts, contact the McPherson Police Department at 245-1200.
