High honors for Mac's Kelly, Minney

McPherson College’s Chris Kelly was named KCAC Men’s Soccer Freshman of the Year, while the Bulldogs’ Tyler Minney was the Bulldogs’ representative on the All-KCAC first team.

The Bulldogs’ Nick Torres and Brayam De La Cruz were picked to the second team, along with Bethany’s Luis Fernando Pinto, Angelo Alessi and Jose Sanchez.

Bulldogs on the honorable mention list were Kelly, Jose Anguino, Jesus Pescador, Aaron Parrott and Morgan Quintana. Bethany HM picks were Trevor Kistler, Frank Barry and Alex Clark.

Perica Obradovic of Oklahoma Wesleyan was named Most Valuable Player, while teammates Jack McGowan, Fernando Machado and Caio Ruiz were named Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year, respectively.

Maurico Vargas of Friends University earned Goalkeeper of the Year and the Falcons’ Jamie Peterson was selected as Coach of the Year.
