Tabor, KW make NAIA football playoffs

One KCAC school will be home and another will be on the road on Saturday for the first round of the NAIA football playoffs.

KCAC regular-season champion Tabor (10-1) will host Doane (9-1) at 1 p.m. Doane played McPherson College to open the season, winning 54-7, while Tabor was a 62-0 winner over the Bulldogs. 

Doane had won its first nine games before losing to No. 1-ranked Morningside 55-7 this past Saturday.

Kansas Wesleyan, 10-1 and the KCAC runner-up with its only loss 14-7 to Tabor, will head West to play Southern Oregon, with game time 6 p.m. CST. Southern Oregon is 9-2 on the season.
