It will be an early basketball game for Central Christian College’s women here on Tuesday.
The Lady Tigers, 1-6 on the season, host former MCAC counterpart Southwestern Christian University at 5:30 p.m. at Alexander Arena.
Central then has a little time off before returning to action on Saturday at nationally ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan.
Central just returned from Denver, where it lost a pair of games in the Johnson and Wales Classic. It appeared to have Saturday’s game won against the host school, but a controversial call went against the Lady Tigers just after CCC’s Heather Crittenden had scored to take a 62-61 lead. The Wildcats made both free throws for the win.
Southwestern Christian comes to town with a 2-4 record, including a 78-60 victory over Central earlier this month. The Eagles also have split with KCAC power Friends, winning 61-60 and losing the return match, 66-61.
