Elyria Junior High boys split games

LITTLE RIVER — Elyria Christian Junior High’s A-boys were edged 34-32 by Little River in basketball action on Monday.

Elyria trailed by 10 points, 25-15, going into the fourth quarter, but made a huge rally that came up just short.

Seth Madron and Josef Hobson tossed in 13 points apiece to lead the Junior Eagles.

The Junior Eagles won the B-game, 36-26. A 16-4 first quarter propelled Elyria to the win. Madron was on fire with 21 points.

Elyria A (32) — Stucky 4, Hobson 13, Boerger 2, Madron 13.

Elyria B (36) — Stucky 5, Hobson 3, Aroum 2, Unruh 4, Madron 21, Allen 1.
