STILLWATER, Okla. — McPherson High graduate Katelyn Loecker is off to a good start for the undefeated Oklahoma State women’s basketball team.
Loecker, a two-time Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year during her Bullpup days, has started all four games for the Cowgirls. She plays 23 minutes a game and is averaging 8.0, along with 3.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists. She is shooting 38 percent from the floor as well as from 3-point, and knocking down 78 percent of her free throws.
Her best game was against Texas Southern when she scored 14 points.
The Cowgirls are off to a 4-0 start and host Oral Roberts on Friday.
