McPherson High graduate Ashton Bruner will take some nice numbers into tonight’s McPherson College basketball game at the Sport Center against Ottawa University.

Bruner, who transferred to Mac for her final year after playing at Emporia State, is second on the team in scoring at 9.6 points a game and leads in rebounding at 8.8. She is shooting 40 percent from the floor and 71 from the foul line. Despite being an inside player, she is second on the team in assists and is No. 1 in blocked shots.

Bruner has helped the Bulldogs to a 2-0 KCAC start after they won all of three conference games last year. They are 3-5 overall.

Game time tonight is 6:00.
