The McPherson County Commission will return to the issue of personnel at the health department this morning.

Commissioners and Health Department Director Fern Hess discussed staffing at the health department back on Nov. 23, specifically a potential new position of administrative assistant and the pending retirements of the department's receptionist and billing clerk. The commission put a priority on filling the billing clerk position during that meeting.

Also on today's agenda will be several items from Public Works Director Tom Kramer, with a public works work session also planned for later this morning.

This morning's meeting of the McPherson County Commission begins at 9 a.m. in the fifth floor conference room of the former First Bank Kansas Building at Maple and Marlin in McPherson.
