Team Black swept Team Blue in four straight games recently as Central Christian College’s baseball team conducted its own version of the “Fall Classic.”

Teams were managed by the Tiger assistant coaches and allowed head coach Derk Kremer time to evaluate.

Team Black won by scores of 6-5, 7-4, 16-0 and 6-1.

The Tigers gave back to the community as they took free-will donations at the entrance of the stadium and all proceeds went to support Mt. Hope Sanctuary, a local women's ministry.

"We are very delighted to have had the ability and opportunity to help out Mt. Hope Sanctuary,” Kremer said. “We are also very thankful for all the support and donations given by the CCC students, CCC parents and CCC fans. As coaches, we were able to see a lot of good things throughout the 2015 Fall Classic, but I don't want the baseball part of the 2015 Fall Classic to overshadow the opportunity for our guys to learn about giving and caring for other people."

The Tigers raised more than $300 to help out Mt. Hope Sanctuary.
