MOUNDRIDGE — Vance Unrau likes the never-say-die attitude of his Moundridge boys.

The Wildcats, down 10 points to Hillsboro going into the fourth quarter of the Moundridge Round-Robin Classic on Thursday, charged back with a 22-7 advantage in the fourth quarter to pull out a 49-44 victory to improve to 2-1 on the season.

“No quit in these kids tonight,” Unrau said. “It’s fun to be a part of the defensive effort.  We got a couple of steals early in the fourth quarter and fed off of that energy.”

Noah Eichelberger had a nice game for Moundridge with 16 points and six rebounds. Anthony Otte furnished 14 points and five rebounds. Kyle Stucky dished out three assists.
