After Tabor’s football team ran the table this year to win the conference championship, both its basketball teams currently lead the KCAC with undefeated 5-0 records.
McPherson College’s Bulldogs will try to end those perfect conference seasons on Saturday. The women start at 5 p.m., the men at 7.

All of a sudden, Tabor’s men — 5-0 in the KCAC and 11-2 overall — have opened up a two-game lead. Ottawa, Southwestern and Friends are two games back in the loss column, while five teams have three losses.
Mac has lost its last four KCAC games to drop into the cellar with a 1-5 record and 3-10 mark overall.
The Tabor women have a one-game lead on Friends, while Kansas Wesleyan is two games back. The remaining eight teams have at least three losses.
Tabor played a tough non-con schedule as it’s 6-6 overall. McPherson College, after starting out 2-0 in conference play, has lost its last four and is 3-9 overall.
Following Saturday’s games, the Bulldogs play host to Oklahoma Wesleyan on Tuesday to wrap up pre-Christmas KCAC play.
