Inman cagers split with Solomon

SOLOMON — Inman and Solomon swapped barnburner victories on Tuesday.

The Inman girls have now won a pair of close games on the season as they prevailed 43-41 over the Gorillas.

The Teutons got out to a 26-18 halftime lead, but Solomon charged back within two going  into the fourth quarter.

Inman banked heavily on the 1-2 punch of MaKayla Michael (16 points) and Naomi Williams (12).

• SOLOMON BOYS 44, INMAN 40 — The young Teutons are going through the growing pains right now, but they showed a lot of grit in this one.

Down 28-21 at the half, Inman charged back and made the Gorillas sweat.

Lucas Barlow had another nice game for Inman with 19 points.
