RIVERSIDE, Calif. — It’s an upbeat McPherson College men’s basketball team that is flying home from California.

The Bulldogs completed a 2-0 trip on Saturday with a hard-earned 85-83 overtime victory over La Sierra University.

Chris Crook, for the second time in less than a week, won the game for the Bulldogs with a long 3-pointer with 2 seconds left. Crook had won Tuesday’s game against Oklahoma Wesleyan with a pair of last-second free throws.
