The McPherson Board of Public Utilities is beginning to resume normal operations following the ice storm at the end of November.
“We have our meter readers out looking for things,” Tim Maier, BPU General Manager, said. “We do continue to find services here-and-there that are down that either got overlooked or didn't get called in. But life is tending to get back to normal.”
Maier reported all of the street lights that had been taken off-line had now been restored, at least as far as the utility is aware, and they are resuming putting in new electric services and the like.
