Former McPherson College head football coach Brian Ward will be serving as Bowling Green University’s interim head coach for its Go Daddy bowl game on Wednesday.

Ward, who has been the team’s defensive coordinator, will be leaving the Falcons after this game as he is joining the staff of former Bowling Green head coach Dino Babers, recently named the head coach at Syracuse of the ACC.

The Falcons, who are 10-3, take on 8-4 Georgia Southern. Game time is 7 p.m. in Mobile, Ala. The game can be seen locally on ESPN.
