STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State’s women’s basketball team stunned No. 4-ranked Baylor 52-45 on Wednesday.
Baylor had entered the game 13-0.
Brittney Martin scored 26 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the Cowgirls, who are now 11-1 on the season.
It was the Big 12 opener for both teams.
The Cowgirls were lights-out defensively, including the second quarter in which they allowed just two points.
McPherson High product Katelyn Loecker concentrated her efforts on the defensive end for OSU. While she scored only two points in starting and playing 28 minutes, she dished out three assists and came up with a steal.
The Cowgirls go on the road Saturday to play Iowa State.
