Central Christian College’s basketball teams will be making road trips in opposite directions on Tuesday.
The Central women head south to take on KCAC member Oklahoma Wesleyan, with tip time 5:30 p.m. in Bartlesville.
The Lady Tigers are 4-10 on the season, losing both games they played over the weekend in the Tabor Classic. Both opponents were exceptional on the offensive end as CCC lost 97-77 to Sterling and 96-62 to Tabor.
Heather Crittenden poured in 24 points in just 22 minutes against Tabor to lead the Lady Tigers.
The Central men head north to Salina to take on Kansas Wesleyan in a rematch of an earlier-season meeting won by the Coyotes, 83-78.
That was one of only two losses for Central as it has started 9-2. The Tigers played NCAA Division II school Drury University over the weekend, losing 72-43. That game is considered an exhibition and doesn’t count on the Tigers’ record.
This is a busy week for the Central men, as they compete Thursday and Friday in the Hillsdale Classic. They take on the host school in the first game and Arlington Baptist on Friday.
