McPherson College’s softball team is hosting another hitting clinic, scheduled for Jan. 16 at the 365 Sports Complex in Inman.
Participants will receive instruction on hitting, bunting and baserunning from the Mac College softball coaching staff and players.
"This is a great opportunity for high school softball players that are interested in McPherson College and developing their softball skills," McPherson coach Ashley Spencer said. "I encourage all prospects that are thinking about playing softball in college to sign up."
The camp will run from 9 a.m. until noon. The $40 fee also includes a camp T-shirt. There was a good response the last time the camp was conducted and it’s a good way for girls who play softball in the spring to get their batting eyes sharpened.
Participants are encouraged to bring a batting helmet, bat, tennis/turf shoes and batting gloves if desired.
The deadline to register is Jan. 13. Contact Spencer at [email protected] or by phone at (620) 242-0590 to get signed up.
