LINDSBORG — Smoky Valley’s girls won each of the four quarters Tuesday for a convincing 53-40 victory over Larned.
The Vikings bookended strong first and fourth quarters, scoring 16 in the first and 17 in the fourth.
Katie Bellah led the Vikings with 15 points and Kate Deterding chipped in with 13 as they won for the second time.
• LARNED BOYS 71, SMOKY VALLEY 61 — The Eagles could never slow Larned down in what was an entertaining offensive game.
The Vikings couldn’t keep pace, though 61 points normally is good enough to win.
Nick Reinert was terrific in defeat with 26 points.
