McPherson school board members have had a long lay-off for the holidays, but will get back in the swing of things tonight at the USD 418 Central Office.

Among the agenda items will be a special recognition of Kansas Horizon Award winner Aspen Fry, who is a teacher at Lincoln Elementary School. The board will also consider several gifts to schools and return to the nepotism policy that was first discussed back on Nov. 23, among other items.

This evening's meeting of the McPherson Board of Education begins at 7 p.m. at the Central Office at 514 North Main.
