HAVILAND — The basketball game has been re-statted for Central Christian College’s women and the final score for the Lady Tigers on Tuesday was 98-70 over the Barclay Bears.
Due to some technical snafus at Barclay, the stats had to be redone today.
Heather Crittenden led the Lady Tigers with 18 points, making 9 of 11 floor shots. She had seven rebounds and six blocked shots.
Molly Young had her best game with 15 points, while also in doubles were Libby Brooks (12), Krystina Stackhouse (11) and Kelsey Grimaldo (11).
“I was very pleased with the overall effort," CCC coach Chris Honeck said. "We got big games from a lot of different players, in a lot of different ways. We shot the ball pretty well, didn't turn it over much, dominated the glass (28 offensive rebounds) and had 31 assists on 39 made baskets. The only area that we could have done better in is fouls. We committed way too many and were outscored from the free line, 23-6. Other than that, we played a very solid game at both ends of the court."
Central, now 5-11, plays Friday at Arlington Baptist in Texas.
