Junior Eagles sweep Peabody

ELYRIA — Elyria Christian Junior High’s A-boys gutted out a 27-22 basketball decision against Peabody on Thursday.

The Eagles had to overcome a two-point third quarter and needed an 8-4 advantage in the fourth quarter to win.

Josef Hobson’s 11 points led the Eagles.

The B-team strolled to a 35-12 success, outscoring Peabody 18-2 in the first quarter. Ben Unruh led the winning charge with 10 points.
