Central Christian College’s basketball teams will be home tonight for a doubleheader against different opponents.
The streaking Lady Tigers, now 8-12 on the year, will be put to the test by Hillsdale Baptist at 5 p.m. at Alexander Arena.
Central, on a three-game winning streak, has been scoring points at a dizzying clip, including two recent games where it went over the 100-point mark. Hillsdale, however, will be one of the tougher teams the Lady Tigers have gone up against so far. Hillsdale is making its second trip to McPherson this season, having defeated McPherson College in overtime in the first week of the season.
The 13-5 Tiger men are looking to end a two-game skid as they lost twice over the weekend in New Mexico. Barclay will be the opponent and the teams already have met this season with the Tigers coming away with an 86-81 victory.
Game time is 7:30 p.m. The Tiger men also are home on Wednesday to take on Northern New Mexico in a rematch of last week’s game. That game also has a 7:30 start.
