MMS wrestlers sweep triangular

McPherson Middle School’s wrestling team came away with a 2-0 day when it hosted Newton and Andover on Tuesday.

The Bullpups were given a push by Newton, winning 60-41, but then crushed Andover 70-18.

“We wrestled very tough. I'm very proud of the team. We went out and were head hunting,” MMS coach Chase Settle said. “I loved it. We had fun and worked hard and it payed off.”
