Tiger cagers drop two to Ozarks

POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. — Central Christian College’s men can’t seem to clear the College of the Ozarks mental hurdle.

The Bobcats completed the season sweep on their home court Friday with an 89-78 victory.

The loss dropped Central to 16-8 as it’s just 4-6 in its last 10 gams.

Michael Gholston led Central with 16 points. Ernest Burton tallied 11, and Alonzo Stafford and Shawn Robbins scored 10 apiece.

The Tigers are playing this afternoon in Lawrence against Haskell.

• OZARKS WOMEN 102, CENTRAL 44 — Nationally ranked Ozarks dominated the Lady Tigers in a game that got ugly in a hurry. The Lady Bobcats were 12 of 19 from 3-point.

Central is now 8-18.

Heather Crittenden scored 12 points to pace Central, which plays another nationally ranked team Haskell this afternoon in Lawrence.
