Little River sweep Peabody

LITTLE RIVER — The Little River girls are showing improvement late in the season, coming up with another victory on Tuesday.

The Redskins rolled to a 40-29 success against Peabody, scoring nearly half of their points in the third quarter (19).

Melanie Renken scored nine of her 14 points in the decisive quarter. Allie Peters had eight points in that quarter, including a pair of 3-pointers.

The Little River boys completed the sweep with a 39-30 victory. 

Defense and a 19-point performance by Clay Zeller sparked the Redskins. Zeller was consistent with nine points in the first half and 10 in the second. Peyton Harvey chipped in with 11 points.
