Two road projects continue to cause some travel headaches in the northwest quarter of McPherson County this week.
McPherson County Public Works crews will continue with pipe replacement work on Wheatridge Road between Second and Third Avenues north of Marquette near the Saline County border. Also, crews will also continue work on the bridge on Seventh Avenue between Pioneer and Pawnee Roads. Both projects will force the closure of those sections of the roads for the duration of the work.
Crack sealing work will also be don on 17thAvenue between U.S. Highway 56 and Pawnee Road east of McPherson, with shouldering work continuing on Smoky Valley Road between Interstate 135 and 24thAvenue.
As always, McPherson County Public Works asks that you use caution in all work zones.
