Central Christian College’s baseball team isn’t even to March yet and already it has equaled last year’s victory total.

With a sweep of Manhattan Christian here Friday, the Tigers are now 9-3 after going 9-45 last year.

CCC won the opener 11-3, leading 5-1 after two innings. Kelby Landon homered and singled for the Tigers. Zane Howard had two doubles among his three hits, while Graham Greenbeck and Laramie Lumley were others with two hits.

Andrew Hightower was nails as he pitched the complete game for the victory, scattering eight hits.

The second game was a no-contest as CCC scored all 20 of its runs in the first four innings.
