Pinpoint pitching led Kansas Wesleyan’s softball team to a doubleheader sweep of Central Christian College here Monday.

The Coyotes, one of the top teams in the KCAC, silenced the Lady Tigers to one run over the two games to improve to 7-1 on the season.

KW won the opener 8-0 as Central could collect only four hits by four different players, including doubles by Sydney Nelson and Kasi Kraus. Kraus took the loss on the mound.

It was more of the same in Game 2 as KW jumped to to an 8-0 lead after a half-inning to take all the suspense out of the game. Lyssa Ritchhart did have an RBI single to score Nelson. Mariah Grijalva had two hits.

Insua took the loss.
